GH-SW320 InGaAs area image sensors are two-dimensional image sensors that have a hybrid structure consisting of a CMOS readout circuit (ROIC: readout integrated circuit) and back-illuminated InGaAs photodiodes for short wavelength infrared (SWIR, 900nm-1700nm) and extended wavelength infrared (Vis-SWIR, 400nm-1700nm) regions.

The sensor consists of an array of 320x256 pixels, with a pixel pitch of 15 μm, providing a total active area of 4.8mm x 3.84mm. The sensor has a fast frame rate of up to 500 Hz, making it suitable for high-speed imaging applications. The sensor also features an on-chip thermoelectric cooler (TEC) and a temperature sensor, allowing for accurate temperature control and stability.

The 320 InGaAs QVGA area sensor can be integrated into various imaging systems. Its compact size, high sensitivity, and low noise make it an ideal choice for applications that require high-quality imaging and sensing in the SWIR range. This makes it ideal for a range of applications that require sensing and imaging in the SWIR range, including scientific research, machine vision, industrial sorting, laser beam profiling, surveillance, hyperspectral imaging, remote sensing, and process inspection.

The detector can be supplied in two types of metallic package:

Nitrogen & Vacuum, which both include a Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC)
