Energtek Inc. (OTCBB: EGTK), a leader in hi-tech natural gas solutions and Adsorbed Natural Gas (ANG) technology, announced that its newly-formed U.S. subsidiary, AMP - American Mobile Pipeline Inc. attended the CIPA conference in Bakersfield, CA in late November.

AMP, after joining CIPA, was invited to present its unique mobile natural gas solutions to over 100 CIPA members at the quarterly board meeting – at which Gov. Jerry Brown was the guest speaker.

Many CIPA members have wells with stranded since (a) the gas does not meet the quality required to enter into the utility's distribution system or (b) it is not economically feasible to build a pipeline to connect to a grid.  Several of these operators have tried to use the gas in a turbine to produce electricity, but the size/scale of the projects has proved to be unworkable.  For a few years, CIPA has been working on viable ways to economically use stranded gas.  Indeed, CIPA established committees to discuss consolidating the stranded gas from several sites and to bring the gas to a single point for power generation.

Other CIPA members in the County of Kern, Bay Area, LA Basin and elsewhere have a situation where the gas produced together with the oil is simply flared because there are no gas lines nearby.  The problem is these flares create "air pollution", and if the current air quality does not meet the State's standards (non-attainment), they must reduce air pollution or be hit with heavy fines.

"During the conference we met with dozens of companies who seek solutions how to monetize stranded and flared gas by either delivering it to a processing facility, pipeline or to neighboring consumers who are not connected to the pipeline and are using propane/off-road diesel/oil fuel," said CEO of AMP, Mr. Michael Greenfield.  "I believe we were quite successful in getting across our message and establishing ourselves as the "pipeline on wheels" solution provider, aptly named AMP - American Mobile Pipeline."
